FESTIVAL PASSES
Holding a Festival Pass lets you enjoy the luxury of walking into screening venues up to 15 minutes prior to screening time simply by showing your credentials instead of selecting and purchasing tickets in advance.
FESTIVAL PASS OPTIONS:
All Festival Passes include access to the Festival Headquarters at The Rubin Museum of Art, the Filmmaker Lounge, the Museum Café, and nightlife admission to the official Festival Afterparties. Festival Passes are neither transferable nor replaceable and must be registered in the name of the person who will be using them at the Festival. Name changes after purchase are not allowed. Here is a breakdown of Four (4) of the Festival Passes available at the festival:
1) ‘VIP’ PASS (Limited Availability)

3) ‘RUBIN MUSEUM OF ART’ PASS
Excludes Opening and Closing Nights
$550 Each
- Use for ‘all’ 5 days from Thursday, October 23 – Monday, October 27, 2008
- Access for One (1) to all Regular screenings in The Rubin Museum of Art
- Access for One (1) to all Gallery Exhibitions in The Rubin Museum of Art
- Access for One (1) to all Panels in The Rubin Museum of Art
- Access for One (1) to all Music Events in The Rubin Museum of Art
- Access for One (1) to all Afterparties in The Rubin Museum of Art
- You must be in your seat at least 15 minutes prior to screening times.
4) ‘AWARDS’ WEEKEND PASS
Excludes Opening and Closing Nights
$550 Each
- Use for ‘only’ 2 days from Saturday, October 25 – Sunday, October 26, 2008
- Access for One (1) to Awards Night Reception
- Access for One (1) to all Regular screenings
- Access for One (1) to all Panels
- Access for One (1) to all Afterparties
- You must be in your seat at least 15 minutes prior to screening times.
TICKET PACKAGE TERMS:
Additional handling fees apply when purchasing your Ticket Packages: $10.00 Per Package and all cancellation requests must be received in writing and confirmed with the registration office by October 20, 2008. There will be a 20% handling fee applied to all cancelled orders. ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
FESTIVAL SUPPORT:
Name changes on Ticket Packages are not allowed after registration is complete. You must add the following emails to your address book of approved senders list to ensure that all emails from the South Asian International Film Festival will reach you and not be filtered out by Spam Blockers:
