Listen up media, film and entertainment enthusiasts!

If you’ve ever dreamed of walking on the red carpet and interviewing celebrities and film stars, this might just be the golden opportunity for you. This year, SAIFF is holding a competition to host the Red Carpet of our festival films. You’ll have the opportunity to meet the esteemed directors and cast of this year’s films, watch the films, as well as wine and dine at the VIP after parties! The winner of the competition will receive a VIP Pass for the film festival. The runner-up will receive a Festival Pass. You have nothing to lose...in fact, all entrants will receive 2 free tickets to a film screening (*subject to availability).

If you enjoy the glitz and glam of being in front of a camera, please enter. Tell us briefly (250 words or less or send us a short video - 20-45 seconds) why you think you would be a great host for the festival. Remember, the key objective here is to sell yourself as the personality best-suited to host the official SAIFF Red Carpet entrance. Consideration will certainly be given for the creativity of your entry.

All entries will be posted to our website and the video with most votes will be crowned an Official 2010 SAIFF Red Carpet host. The lucky winner’s charming wit and smiling face will be unleashed upon the best and brightest of the South Asian International Film Festival. The deadline to apply is October 24, 2010 !
