A gritty, realistic story about an educated middle class kid from Daryganj, India who comes to Los Angeles after getting accepted into a prestigious film school. Due to an unfortunate turn of events, he is forced into working illegally on his student visa in a restaurant in order to survive . It doesn’t take long for the demands of his job to outweigh the demands of his master’s program. After some unforeseen familial events back home in Darygang, Hassan ’s core values and integrity is tested as destiny forces him to choose between his family and his dream.
